The L4V Deadlock is a mechanical deadlock for vans operating independently from the manufacturers’ locking system. It is very similar to the L4V Hook Lock however this lock engages a ‘straight bolt’ (20mm-50mm) into its opposing body section. Operated by its high-security external key under full control of the driver. Suitable for owner-drivers or applications where the driver can be relied upon to operate the lock. The L4V Deadlock van locks are recommended for use on the vehicles cab doors. We may suggest this as an alternative to an L4V Hook Lock where necessary.
The L4V Van Slam locks are primarily designed for couriers, multi-drop delivery drivers and any operations where a driver may be regularly in and out of a loading area throughout the day. The L4V Slamlock safeguards against the driver forgetting to lock the doors. The L4V Slamhandle is a powder-coated stainless steel replacement handle, providing effective security with internal strengthening plates and an L4V Slamlock. Once the door is shut it locks automatically and can only be opened using the Van Slam locks key.

L4V Loom Guards reduce the risk of vulnerable areas of the vehicle body skin being cut or punctured giving access to the wiring loom, disabling the the central locking. Repairing the loom can be expensive and inconvenient for the van owner if the wire is cut. these should be fitted along with Van Locks to enhance over all security
L4V External shields reduce the risk of bodywork punctures that give access to internal lock mechanisms and door latches. Our external shields are vehicle and door specific and so the products we supply vary depending on the make and model of your vehicle.
